Re: Photographer's Thread

i'm not too fond of casio exilim, but maybe they've improved over the years.
jason, i recommended the canon sd750. a couple of weeks ago, office depot had it for $150 or $159.99. i was gonna pick one up when it first came out, but my sis wanted to get one so i just let her buy it and i just borrow it when i go to concerts and can't take my dslr.
dio also owns one and if he's still on the forums, he can chime in. under $200 is your budget right?

well for taking basic ass pics... i think the casio exilim is fine.. ti's cheap, i got mines for a little less than 200 and mines was the "best" point n click at the time. I think it's just a personal prefences. I wantedt one that uses an SD instead of somethign else ( flash, memorystick, etc), at least 6megapixls, tons of modes, easy battery charging ( some camers have to take out the battery and plug it up, mines, i just plug the whole camera into the outlet. Its' not gonna give u superextrmem quality like the one's u guys got but yeah, for taking pics of projcts..it works FINE. i've been using it for my project!

if this camera was waterproof .that would just be awesome.

so janice is in the market for a new point and shoot. we've been looking at olympus, canon, casio exilim, and sony stuff. can't remember the names. just want to know which ones you guys, from experience, think works best for under $200. she's set on buying one in a couple of weeks(her next paycheck).
